Meet Hannah Marquez
I'm Hannah, and I co-founded The Actor Rebellion. I've worked in the industry for over twenty years, as an actor, then an agent, and for a stretch in advertising on international commercial campaigns. So I've spent a good deal of time on the side of the table where the decisions get made.

Most of the advice you'll hear when you're starting out is second hand, and a fair amount of it is out of date. It leaves people counting themselves out before they've even tried.
​
I'm also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, which means I understand the business of acting as well as the craft. How you're positioned and how you come across to the people casting is very often what makes the difference.
​
I do this because too many talented people believe acting isn't for them, put off by the brick walls they hit when starting out. I've never been interested in gatekeeping.
