We have had our own dedicated studio space since 2014
We moved into Wrong Shoes Studio in 2024 and after a lick of paint and a few Rebellion touches, it's felt like our creative home.
It is a large, airy space with big windows and plenty of light. Originally a dance studio, it has full-length mirrors (when we need them) and a large open floor space. There is a chill out area with big comfy Chesterfield sofas, tea and coffee are always available (with Bourbon biscuits!), and air con and heating throughout.
The studio is also home to Wrong Shoes Theatre Company, our immersive theatre company. Its costumes, props, its personality, and its history are woven into the walls. It is a living, breathing creative space.

If you are travelling by public transport, the number 11 Swindon Bus Company service stops at Evelyn Street, a short walk away.

Travelling from further afield
Many of our students do not live in Swindon. They come from Bristol, Oxford, Bath, Cheltenham, Reading and London. Swindon sits on the M4 and is well connected by rail.
Bristol: around 40 minutes by train
Oxford: around 30 minutes by train
Bath: around 20 minutes by train
Cheltenham: around 45 minutes by train
Reading: around 25 minutes by train
London Paddington: around 55 minutes by train
Swindon, Old Town is one of Swindon's most characterful areas, with independent cafes, restaurants and green spaces on the doorstep. It is a genuinely pleasant place to spend a few days. For students joining one of our intensives, whether that is a weekend or a longer programme, there are good value hotels and Airbnbs within easy reach of the studio.
Swindon is well connected by road and rail, making it straightforward to get here from most parts of the country. If you are travelling for an intensive and would like advice on where to stay, get in touch and we will point you in the right direction.
