So, you want to become an actor. Fantastic! At The Actor Rebellion, we support adults at every stage of their acting journey.
Whether you're just starting out or you're ready to take things to the next level, we’ve built a training pathway that works alongside the demands that life throws at you.

Here’s how we do it.
Step One: Start our Acting for Beginners Courses
This is where most people begin. Our Beginners Courses run throughout the year in Swindon and Bristol, and each one focuses on a specific area of acting—like character building, improvisation, acting for camera, comedy, or theatre.
You don’t need any experience. You just need a bit of curiosity and the willingness to try something new.
You’ll be learning in a supportive, down-to-earth environment with other adults who are in the exact same boat. Together these courses offer you a whole year of basic training giving you a great foundation in acting.
Step Two: Build Your Craft with the Actor Accelerator
If you feel ready, have completed our beginners courses, or already have training and want to take things further, the Actor Accelerator is the next step.
It’s a 6-month, part-time programme designed to develop your skills in acting for Film & T.V. You’ll work on technique, build confidence, and get practical insights into how the acting industry works.
The goal is simple: help you reach a professional standard and prepare you to start putting yourself forward for work.
This is where we often see that big shift—when someone realises this isn’t just a hobby. It’s a career they can actually pursue.
It is also your first step towards Spotlight membership, the UK's largest professional casting platform.
Step Three: Stay Sharp with Green Room Membership and Masterclasses
Acting is a craft. And like any craft, it needs consistency.
The Green Room Membership is for actors who are serious about continuing to develop. It includes weekly scene study classes with regular feedback and performance opportunities throughout the year.
It’s also where our strongest community lives, a network of passionate, supportive actors working and growing together.
Our Masterclasses bring in specialist tutors so actors can diversify there acting skills for their acting c.v.
Step Four: Professional Representation
You do not need to be represented by an Agent to start acting, but it helps! As a talent agent, I work closely with actors who train with us and demonstrate commitment, professionalism, and growth.
We help actors find agency representation and also offer representation to select actors who are ready to step into the industry and start auditioning for professional work. That includes TV, film, theatre, commercials, voiceover and more.
Some actors go from beginner to booking their first job within18 months. Some take longer. That’s okay. There’s no rush. We support you at your pace.
Final Thought about Getting into Acting
You don’t need to have all the answers at the beginning. You just need to start.
At The Actor Rebellion, we’ve designed a clear, supported path from your first class to your first paid job—and beyond. There’s space for you here, whether you’re 25, 45, or 65.
If acting is something you’ve always wanted to do, now’s the time.
We’ll be with you every step of the way!
